University of British Columbia is the site for this year's meeting on the mechanisms of neural tube defects. Many of the best scientists, molecular biologists, geneticists who are working on any topic related to Spina Bifida are meeting and discussing their individual projects. Several GAPSBiF members (Drs Blount, Castillo (X2!), Pardo and others) are attending and presenting. GAPSBif work was summarized with particular respect to implementation, tool kit, road map and salt!
